I did this experiment to recreate a visual experience of ayahuasca. The experience was like being immersed in the middle of the junlge but compressed at the same time. I wanted to have very strange lighting and proportions.
In order to do it IU used this round suitcase. I put different kind of plants inside illuminated with single LED’s. I did a whole on top of the suitcase to attach a wide lens. On top of the lens I attached a video camera. I did a whole on the bottom of the suitcase where my head and different other heads could go inside the suitcase/ the mini jungle.
